Q: I'm waiting on God to send my mate, why is He taking
so long?
A: Many people are waiting
on God to do something about their circumstances. But the truth
is, God is waiting on them. Why? Because God has done all He's
going to do about our deliverance when Jesus went to the cross.
Jesus paid the price for our sins, salvation and deliverance and
His blood covered every problem. There is nothing more to do. So
when you have a problem, God already provided the solution.
God is waiting on you to take the initiative and receive the
deliverance He has provided in Christ. God is waiting on you to
approach him with the answer he's already provided in his Word
and pray that back to him. If you need to know about a
particular matter, God has given you His Word and His Holyspirt
so you can receive insight concerning your situation. So if you
are faced with the need of desiring a mate, you need only ask
yourself this, "how much longer am I willing to go without it?"
Because it begins with you.
You are not waiting on God, He is waiting on you. It is not up
to God if you receive your mate, it is up to you. You must
understand that God takes his cues from you. Because God works
according to the power that works in you, if you stop believing,
God has nothing to work with.
Any situation in your life you wish to change including
receiving your mate will remain unchanged unless you do
something about it. Many have laid aside their faith and have
fallen susceptible to wrong teaching that has seeped into the
Church and destroyed many. It is the belief that God's Will,
will automatically comes to pass. The truth is it does not. If
God showed you His perfect will for your life laid out with
elaborate details but if you did not release your faith, it
simply will not come to pass.
So the next time you are tempted to think, "why is God taking so
long," instead ask yourself, "have I done all that I know to do
to receive what He has already provided?" Because it’s
easier to believe you already have something and using faith to
manifest it then striving to get something you feel you
presently don’t have. |

Q:
I've been praying for a long time and nothing seems to change.
A: When petitioning God
for anything the most important prayer you need to pray is Mark
11:24. Once you have believed you received, your focus should
be on maintaining and exercising your faith. If you fall into
the habit of "praying" which is constantly asking God to send
your mate, then that may be the reason why you are not getting
any results.
Remember, God supplied your mate long before you began asking
for him or her. When you petition God you are at that
point receiving, taking hold of what God has already provided.
And according to Mark 11: 24, you have to believe you receive
your answer then you get it. So if you don't actually
believe you have it, it's your faith that needs attention.
Instead of praying, begin to work the muscles of your faith.
Meditate on the scriptures you are standing on that promise you
a mate and then show God you believe Him by taking some form of
action. |

Q: What if I know I am in faith,
because I know I believed I received, yet still nothing is happening?
A: There are many reasons why things may not be
happening but I have found this is one of the main reasons.
You could have faith, but it could be dead. According to
James, it's dead faith because you have not added works or
action to it. If you know you are in faith, yet still not much is happening,
check up your action. Are you acting like you believe you
received when you prayed? Study James 2:14-26. He
gives an excellent teaching on how we should include action with
our faith.
If you will take action, you may start to see changes. If
you begin to move by preparing for your mate and if there is an
issue God will reveal it to you. But you have to be
actively demonstrating your faith. Most people believe,
and I was one of them, that passive faith is ok. Passive
faith is when you have believe God, but you are waiting around
for something to happen. You are waiting on God to do
something. If this is the case, you will need to start
moving on what you believed you received from God. It is
when you are moving that God can direct you. Bottom line,
start preparing for what you believe God has given you.
