After pouring her heart and soul into someone, only to find that he moved on without telling her. Her heart was broken into many pieces after being cheated on, used, and disrespected. The pain and humiliation left behind after she found out she wasted her time on a person who didn’t really want her. His excuse to escape the relationship that she had dreams to build a future with was he ‘loved’ her but he wasn’t ‘in-love’ with her. She heard this after allowing herself to be mistreated; acted in a way that she knew wasn’t right; and stayed when she should have left a long time ago.
She stayed because she loved him. She worked hard on the relationship overlooking bad behavior all because she wanted a life with him. He didn’t deserve her love and devotion but she kept giving it, hoping he would change, some day, and love her the way she loved him. Yet, time went by and instead of getting better, it grew worse. She remained faithful, hoping one day it would get better because it is not easy walking away from a relationship after you invested so much time.
In the end, the relationship that was supposed to bring her love brought hate. Instead of joy, it brought great sorrow. Instead of hope, it brought discouragement and despair.
Then she internalized the failed relationship blaming herself, thinking, ‘what is wrong with me? Her mind started to hurt after going over day by day of what was said and how she may have led to the breakup. Thinking, if she had been more loving, more giving, less angry, things could have worked out. Then, when she began wondering if she would ever find anyone else, depression set in. After depression entered, self-doubt entered right behind it.
This is What Happened to Me
This was my story. I experienced a horrible breakup. It was painful. I cried many tears, but had that breakup not occurred, I would have never met the person God had for me.
I heard someone say, and it has stuck with me that, “some people are holding onto relationships that even God may be trying to breakup.” And it was true in my case because before God sent me the person He had for me, I had to be rid of the entanglement that I found myself in. The bad breakup that brought me great pain, before; I was grateful that it had happened in the end. I think the breakup was so bad in the end because I ignored the small signs in the beginning.
So, realize, if you have experienced a failed relationship, it is a common occurrence when you are with the wrong person. Yeah, they may have seemed perfect in the beginning, but who isn’t? If you have experienced a bad relationship, it is not the end. You can still experience the most fulfilling marriage of your life.

After the Breakup
If you are a born-again believer in Jesus Christ, who desires to turn around your bad situation and marry the person God has chosen for you, you may need a refresher in faith. If so, this Faith package is for you.

But I learned the hard way that I had to have faith working in my heart and my mouth to see results. I had to stay out of the devil’s territory, like anger and unforgiveness. I had to run from the counterfeits and break down key scriptures asking the Holy Spirit for understanding.
Since faith is the only way we receive from God and while so many believers still don’t have their mate yet, I thought it was time for a refresher. Because if your car is broken down and you are unable to get to work, your first order of business would be to find out what is wrong with it. You wouldn’t wait around hoping for an answer. You would seek out the nearest mechanic to determine the problem.

In order to fix broken faith, you will need to find the problem and the solution to fix it so it can begin working again.
