Write the Vision MAKE IT PLAIN

by Victoria Thornton   -   FindingGodsWill.com

In Habakkuk 2:2-3 the Lord said, ‘…write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
But did you know personal visions that God gives to each of us must be written in our hearts and minds before we see it.

Many times people who are in the Word of Faith movement are guilty of just confessing the Word all the time.
They hear the teaching that 'what you confess is what you possess,' so they confess the Word but they do not possess the promises.
They heard that when you speak to the mountain, it should be gone. Jesus said it, so it has to be true. However, it is not true in their lives.

Now why is it?

Unless the Word is written in our hearts, specifically, unless the vision is written in our hearts, we will be ineffective.

Meditating on God’s Word before it's confessed and acted upon is vital to seeing it manifest. In Joshua1:8, it states it must be meditated on day and night to have good success. This includes the vision for your lives and what God calls you to do.

In fact, it must be done for all the promises of God. That's why it is important to have God's Word for whatever you are believing Him for. It's like the scripture or the Word He has given has your promise hidden in it.

It's like a squirrel with a nut. The more you meditate and confess it the more faith rises and the easier it is to believe. Don't ever be in such a hurry that you fail to meditate on scripture.

If you are believing God for your mate, do not neglect the Word that covers that promise because the seed of having that mate is in the Word. The most important part of the process is in meditating on it.

Christians that have been saved for a while fall into a bad habit of not studying or meditating on scripture because they have heard it hundreds of times. But if you are believing God for something, get the Word first. Go over the scripture even if you can recite them by heart.

What I have found that may be helpful is to get all the scriptures that pertain to what you are believing for and go over them.

The one the HolySpirit quickens in your heart is the one you focus on. Go over that scripture day and night. Look at it. Don't rely on your memory. Confess it over and over to yourself. As you focus on each word in the scripture, it will sow faith in your heart and you will become unshakable.

For instance, whatever issue you may be struggling with that is blocking you from seeing your manifestation will more times than not be in the Word the Lord quickens to your heart.

If for some reason a particular scripture is quickened to you, do not neglect it. For the meditating on that scripture may hold your key to getting your answer.

If at any time, you have mediated on a particular scripture, the Holy Spirit may lead you to other scriptures and teachings you've heard that may help with what you are dealing with.

For example, someone who is distressed because they should be married by now may be dealing with the thought of never getting married.

To remedy this, you write down all the scriptures you can find that pertains to that subject and you meditate on them watching for the HolySpirit to see if He will quicken one to you.

For instance, someone fighting these thoughts might go over the following scriptures.

1. Genesis 2:18, And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

2. Ecclesiastes 4:9-11, Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.
For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone?

3. Psalms 37:25, I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

4. II Corinthians 1:20, For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

And the HolySpirit quickens to you Psalms 37:25, the part which states, ' I have been young and now am old YET HAVE I NOT SEEN the righteous forsaken…”.

And another He quickens, II Corinthians 1:20, for all the promises of God in him are yea and in him amen, unto the glory of God BY US.'

For He may be trying to emphasize two different things based on the person He is ministering to. Therefore, spending that time in the Word is precious. It presents God with the opportunity to minister to us.

In order to bring to pass what He promised you, He must do a work in you as you sow His Word in your heart through study and meditation.

Therefore the benefits of meditation include the following:
1. Meditation writes the Word on heart.
2. Meditation causes faith to come.
3. Meditation uproots wrong and negative thoughts and teachings.

So, even before you pray the prayer of faith, make sure the word is solidly sown in your heart. Writing your vision there will certainly help in the faith process.

In closing, don't despair if your vision hasn't come to pass yet. Don't become discouraged. Some might say, “You don't understand, I confess the promises of God three times a day and nothing is happening!”

The vision must be written into your heart clearly first for results to be forthcoming. And, as the Lord said in Habakkuk 2;3,...

“that the vision is for an appointed time but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

God knows how to do His part in bringing the vision or promise to pass but will you do your part in writing it in your heart? †
